Frequently Asked Questions

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

It's my goal to make your day beautiful no matter what your budget is, and if that means offering DIY tips where needed, I'm here with suggestions. Typically, the simplest packages start around $3,500, but typically my couples spend around $5,000.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK?

April through October fills up quickly, so the sooner the better! I book most weddings a year or a year and a half in advance.

WHAT IF I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I WANT?

That's what I'm here for! I'm happy to offer suggestions and ideas, and I do my best to listen to your likes and dislikes, however vague they may be, to craft something that fits you and your partner.

WHAT IF THE FLOWERS I WANT ARE OUT OF SEASON?

I strive to use blooms that are in season because it's more sustainable and often means a higher quality flower. That being said, if there's a specific flower that has sentimental meaning, I'll do my best to accommodate, and my wholesaler carries a broad range of products all year round.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU DELIVER TO?

I work primarily in Lancaster and Philadelphia, but I'm open to going anywhere! Wisconsin is the furthest wedding I've done to date, and I'm always up to travel, so send an inquiry even if you're not sure, and let's chat!

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE CONSULTATION?

If you have photos of flowers you like and a general idea of what colors or styles you're drawn to, that's always helpful but not necessary. Numbers are good for determining total cost, such as bridal party count, expected guest count, etc.

WILL I SEE SAMPLE OF THE FLOWERS FOR MY WEDDING BEFOREHAND?

I discourage mock-ups because unless it's exactly a year before your event, the flowers that are available won't be the same, resulting in something much different than what I'll actually deliver for your wedding. Also, since I order flowers in bulk, the cost for a single arrangement or individual bouquet can be quite inflated. That's where the floral proposal comes in, and while my goal is never to completely copy someone else's work, photos are helpful in making sure we're on the same page with aesthetics. After I send you a proposal, you'll have a chance to give feedback, and I'll keep editing it until everything matches your vision.

DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM?

Not really. While I'm less likely to take smaller jobs in "wedding high season," (April to June and August to October), it never hurts to ask!

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Fill out a form on my website, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. I can't wait to start planning with you!
